"My father was admitted via A&E ..."

What I liked

My father was admitted via A&E to Bluebell B ward, and stayed there for 12 days. During that period the staff were always attentive, friendly and polite. One particular nurse has to be commended for their hard work and dedication. Certainly one of the 'old school' nurses, where nothing was too much trouble.

What could be improved

The discharge procedure was slightly un-coordinated with return required to the ward to pick up one of the medications later the same day. However, this medication pick-up was also dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner.

Anything else?

Looking at some of the negative reviews, all I can say is that my Dad must have been in a different hospital. 'Credit where credit is due'.
