About: James Paget University Hospital

Sent to A&E by GP with symptoms of temperature and pain for several days.

Seen within a good time period.

Abnormal blood tests.

Could not have the necessary tests needed as no one available to do them, told I could be admitted but no point as no one to do test for several days. Told I had a urine infection but they had failed to test my urine which had been tested by my own doctor twice and found clear.

So left as instructed with no treatment. How dare this hospital call themselves an accident and emergency unit.

This is one sad sick hospital that needs intervention.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feeback comments on the NHS Choices website.

I am sorry to learn that your recent visit to A&E was not a positive experience.

I have shared your feedback with the teams involved, however, if you would like to contact us so that we can establish further details to investigate this further, please contact our PALS department on 01493 453240/452651 where one of our staff will be more than happy to help.

Kind Regards

Amanda Hood
