"Mothers epilepsy clinic appointment"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

My mother have a appointment to see a Consultant in the neurological department.

She found this appointment to be devastating, as she feels the consultant did not listen properly to her at all..

We later received the follow up letter about what was discussed through the appointment. This letter is disgusting, the diagnosis is compelling, the accusations being made are terrible, they have re worded things my mother said..

I feel as though going from this letter my mum has talked to a brick wall as the important things like symptoms have not been mentioned, it's more about previous history in her notes.

They are reinvestigating something that doesn't need to be as my mum has seen numerous neurologist over the many years she has been under a epilepsy clinic.

I am also mentioned in the letter about me 'apparently' having seizures.. There is no apparent about it as this did happen.

If this is the type of consultants offered at this clinic then no wonder it has bad reviews!

Hopefully my mum can get a transfer to a different clinic as the stress the consultant has caused is not good on her epilepsy and now my mother will not take her medication thanks to the consultant.
