"Efficient service from A&E and Cardiology"

n days before we were due to go on a three month activity holiday to South America, my husband experienced a high heart rate which would not return to normal. His GP referred him immediately to A&E and Cardiology at Warwick hospital.

On our arrival we were seen promptly, and the situation was managed very professionally. Fortunately the heart rate reverted to normal rhythm spontaneously, but the staff appreciated our concern with our impending trip to a remote area with no easy access to emergency services.

Arrangements were made for my husband to have an echocardiogram the same week and to be seen by a cardiology consultant to advise us about the implications for our holiday.

We are now back safely from our travels and felt that we should express our appreciation for the prompt, appropriate and expeditious service we received.
