"Hip operation"

I have just returned home after an overnight stay at Circle Reading Hospital for a hip operation.

I last stayed in hospital 14 years ago so I don't have recent experience to call on to compare but I can honestly say that I have never had better care taken of me.

From being met and escorted to a room through to being walked back to a car there was always someone available to me.

Various staff members took the time to make sure I understood each step of the process and explained what was involved in a way I could understand.

The accommodation is to a very high standard and very clean.

Generally I got the impression that the staff were proud of 'their' hospital and that sense of ownership was reflected in the care taken. Certainly beyond simply a good professional standard.

I am very happy to recommend Circle Reading to anyone considering this hospital.
