"Excellent Care"

My daughter is under the care of Dr. We have regular meetings, and are consulted in decisions about medication and therapies. I really feel they understand my daughters needs. The meetings are never rushed, and if you leave a message your calls are always returned.

The only complaint I have is that when they dictate the minutes of the meeting, it can take a secretary 3 weeks to type and send them out.

Thank you for letting us have your encouraging views of our Trust- it is really helpful for our staff and other readers to know how it feels to use mental health services.

I have passed the comments about delays typing up notes to colleagues in my team so that we can incorporate them in our improvement work.

Finally I apologise for the slow acknowledgement of your post - we are putting in place a better system so that there are no such delays in the future.
