Rude staff

About: St Thomas' Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I've attended this unit on more than three occasions. Some staff are very rude and very 'matter of fact' about everything. When I recently attended the staff openly informed everyone in the waiting room of my past miscarriage. For them, they really don't care about privacy. I truly hate attending this place. There needs to be more considerate staff.

I am sorry to hear about your poor experience and that your confidentiality was not preserved. The maternity service would be more than happy to look into what happened, and make sure that our expectations about confidentiality and sensitive communication are reinforced.
