"Superb Treatment and Care"

I was admitted last week for a Cardiac Catheter Ablation. The care I received was world class. The nurses who greeted me before the procedure were kind, reassuring and highly competent.

The Ablation team were superbly calm, professional and again reassuring, answering all my questions in a non-patronising way. A slight hiccup with a missing test result in my notes was resolved.

The Hi-tech Catheter Lab was impressive with a huge array of equipment, screens and wires - all attached to me.

Afterwards the day and night nurses on Charles Pumphrey Unit deserve a special mention. They could not have been more kind and caring, watching over me and three fellow patients during the night.

Nothing was too much trouble. They even had ear plugs to help me sleep. The Unit itself was modern, clean and comfortable.

I may need further treatment, but if I need to come back I will do so with confidence. Thank you everyone.
