"Fantastic care from surgical team"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

In December I was admitted to hospital for pancreatitis due to gallstones I also found out I was pregnant at the same time! Due to the pregnancy, treatment was complicated and I was scared and in terrible pain.

The staff on E1 in December were brilliant and so kind and caring, especially one nurse called Fergus. He was so helpful and didn't mind being asked various questions.

I also had a great experience with the surgeon Miss Walters and her team. They talked me through everything and explained any worse case scenarios. Luckily I recovered and had my gallbladder removed in March and yet again Miss Walters and Dr Bali the anaesthetist were amazing.

Now I feel better than ever and will be returning in August to have my baby in the maternity ward.

Thank you to everyone that treated me with such care and dignity.
