"Awful Experience"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

I came up to Ward 30 after having an infection in my fallopian tube. Was left in pain for hours, I buzzed about 6/7 times to ask for stronger pain relief but kept getting the same excuse 'there are no doctors around at the minute' whilst i was in absolute agony and crying. Eventually I collapsed in my toilet, managed to pull the call bell & emergency buzzer pulled- my BP was dangerously low and i passed out.

Terrifying experience. No compassion or understanding from the staff at all. just made to feel like a burden.

Also at that time I did not have a diagnosis so was really anxious about what was wrong with me.
