"Concerns about my wife's care from Royal gwent"

My wife had a limo appear in her throat and lost her voice in the progress. After about 200 phone calls and relentlessly trying to get an appointment we finally got one, at the appointment we were told that a letter would be sent soon with a possible operation date to remove the lump.

That took roughly 3 weeks and my wife received a phone call saying the she's been provisionally pencilled in for an op on the 3rd June. My wife and I have constantly been trying to contact the ENT department to get confirmation of the op date so that we can get things sorted out end with child care etc.

I personally have been ringing at least 30 times per day and there is never any answer. I think from beginning to end the care has been so bad it's embarrassing. I just hope the op doesn't have as many problems as we've had so far.

Disgusting treatment and will never go to Royal gwent hospital again.  They should take a long hard look at how things are done and change quickly.
