It seems odd to review a hospital and recommend it but last night my father in law was admitted into A and E and sadly passed away this morning.
The care he received from all staff was outstanding and he was treated with such dignity and respect. At all times we were informed of what was happening and made to feel that our wishes and rights were listened to at all times. At no point did we feel that Doug was at risk.
I would like you to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff. It was a sad outcome but he was made comfortable and all the staff showed the utmost compassion.
