"Short overnight stay"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

I was initially taken in to A and E late at night with gallstone pain and the staff I came into contact with could not have been kinder or more helpful. I returned for a scan the following day and was admitted for the removal of my gallbladder.

Throughout my short overnight stay I was treated by professional friendly staff, several of whom went out of their way to make me more comfortable.

Although I have had operations in the past, I was still nervous. However, the professionalism of the staff involved allayed any fears that I had.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to provide feedback on such a great hospital
