(as a parent/guardian),

My son has had 2 previous cleft surgeries under the expert care of the cleft lip & palate surgeon at RHSC, Edinburgh. Since antenatal diagnosis of cleft lip and palate, he has had the most excellent of care from the surgeon and her team. The care and clinical expertise given by his surgeon has been second to none, our surgeon in Edinburgh being world renowned both clinically and from a research point of view. Her outcomes are amongst the best in the UK, in addition to her excellence in pioneering pre-operative management. As he prepares for his third facial surgery, her input into his pre-operative management has been extremely valuable.

The cleft surgical service in the East of Scotland is excellent!

Thank you very much for your lovely feedback regarding your son's care and treatment by the the cleft lip and palate surgeon at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (RHSC) in Edinburgh. The support and care that you are receiving from everyone in the team must be very reassuring especially as you prepare for your son's third surgery.
