"Doctor breaking bad news to my Mum"

My Dad is in hospital in Bangor, Wales. He is dying from cancer and the doctor met with my Mum to talk about Dad. This is what my Mum said about the experience,

Watched google box as I always do on a Friday good till the last bit. Would have been nice to have had that doctor tell me the exact same thing this week. Instead the Dr I had said if his heart or lungs stopped they wouldn't be jumping on his chest to bring him back, and non of his family were part of any decision for Do not Resuscitate it was totally the decision of the two doctors who signed the form. No wonder he left me distraught. He was talking about the man I have been married to for 45 yrs and whom I love.
