On Thursday 19th May 206 I underwent a operation on my right leg.
Firstly I would like to thank all the staff on Ward 15.
From my initial contact with the reception staff to the dedicated nursing staff.
Nothing was to much trouble I was shown dignity and respect at all times.
The nursing staff explained what to expect whilst I was on the ward, all my questions were answered.
All the staff on Ward 15 are a credit to the hospital and should be congratulated on this.
Next I would like to show my appreciation to the staff in the Recovery ward, especially to the nurse that was assigned to me during my recovery, they were very professional in their care.
Please could this be passed on to them.
Last but not least the Surgical Team and Anisthetics Team.
I saw a member of the surgical team on the ward, the doctor explained what to expect from my operation and all my concerns were answered, the doctor was extremely professional in their approach.
I was shown dignity and respect at all times.
I then met a member of the Anisthetics team who discussed what type of care I would receive prior to my operation, this doctor was very understanding and extremely professional.
All in all the medical team that were involved in my care are, Dedicated and Professional, and are a credit to the Wansbeck Hospital.
Well Done.
"Exceptional Care."
