"Bladder biopsy and after care 20 - 21 April 2016"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

I had a bladder biopsy on 20 April.

I woke up in the Recovery Room where a Nurse looked after me.

I was impressed by their professionalism and calm efficiency and felt that I was in good hands.

I then spent 24 hours in Hailsham 4 ward and was cared for by the nursing team. Their professionalism, cheerfulness and respect for the dignity of those in their care, including myself, was very evident and I commend them for it.

Altogether it was a very good patient experience and I am very grateful

Dear Mr Walker

Thank you for providing feedback about your experience of Urology and Theatre services at Eastbourne DGH.

The theatre staff will be pleased to hear that you felt in good hands when waking up in recovery, as this can be quite a nerve wracking prospect for some.

In addition, the staff on Hailsham 4 will be happy to hear you had a very positive experience with them, as they work very hard to ensure high quality care, and postings such as yours, truly recognise their dedication.

Please be assured your comments will be shared with the staff concerned.

We send you our best wishes.
