"Incorrect assessment"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

My discharge letter stated I was at risk of falling.

This implies that I am not stable.

The problem arose out my nervous chatting to the staff, during which I described a couple of falls I had had in the last 2 or 3 years.

One was because I live in a tiny space and tripped over something; the other was because the exterior porch-like entrance to my block of flats is covered in a lethal-when-wet brick type of tiles.

(I'm not the only resident to have fallen because of this imbecile building construction.)

I want this aspect of my record corrected.

It may have adverse effects on some future scenario, for example, potential travel insurance situations.

I also want to say that I had many concerns which I had mentioned prior to the day of my operation, but which were not settled until the day of my operation, or indeed until during the operation itself.

I had told the nurses various things during the preliminary visits, been assured 'it would probably be OK', but had to wait until the day to find out it was OK.

The issue here is that had these things been confirmed far sooner the whole process would have been a lot less stressful.
