After attending the St Helens walk in centre, I was advised to immediately go to AED, as this was on Saturday evening, I was apprehensive, but on arrival I was triarged within 25 minutes, as I had as high temperature and was dehydrated, from then on the staff were brilliant and although there was a long wait for a bed, I was well looked after until my transfer to ward B1, once again the care from the staff was excellent, especially from my allocated nurse.
This was my first stay in Whiston and although it was only a short stay, I would like to thank the medical and nursing staff. for the excellent care and kindness received, my experience was vastly different from all of the recent negative stories in the National media.
"Brilliant service in AED and ward B1."
