"Appointments waiting time........"

I have been having to see the specialist at this hospital for a number of years and I find it disgusting the time having to wait for appointments - regardless of the contact made the attitude from certain members of staff is terrible with a "nothing can do about it" reply.

I do appreciate the NHS is under pressure but surely the attitude greeted with could be more approachable.

Yet when you do get an appointment (months after) the consultant is not happy and is unaware of the trouble and efforts you have made. Then personally writes a letter advising you how to make contact should u experience it again and puts a note on your file for it to mean absolutely nothing and back to the waiting game.

P.s this is not the first time, I experience this for every appointment and I'm meant to be seen every 3months which I'm lucky if I get to see the doctor twice in one year!
