"Helpful and cheerful staff at Barnsley General"

In June I had bowel problems and went to Barnsley General, staying on ward 31. All the staff, doctors and nurses were very friendly and thoughtful. Never did I feel angry or upset.

I was very pleased with the care I got in hospital. I was not eating. The staff helped me, making me small helpings of anything I liked. I was very grateful I hadn't eaten anything for two weeks before I went into hospital, I only had water to drink. I saw lots of different nurses and they were all very nice and always helpful and cheerful. All the patients liked them.

I want to thank Dr. Barrister and all the staff on ward 31.
