What I liked
The total compassion which the staff on Ward 6 showed my mother who sadly passed away through natural causes. The staff were very attentive to my mothers needs and also to the family members. There seemed to be nothing the staff would not do to make my mother comfortable. Both day and night shifts need to be praised for their efforts. A special thank you to the nurse on days and also to the nurse on nights. Their attention to detail and professionalism were exceptional. Thank you.
As I said you guys have a good team. Please keep up the good work.
What could be improved
To be honest there really is nothing which could be improved on Ward 6.
However, the signposting around the Hospital is very poor. As a stranger to the Hospital I found it very difficult to find the visitors car park and then the entrance at night is quite difficult to find.
Anything else?
A special thank you to the loyal WRVS staff who made a difficult time that bit easier.
The Hospital clergy were also very good and attentive to my Mother and family members.
