"Superb care for a terminally ill friend."

My elderly friend passed away in the Sheldon Unit in Nov 2015 following a diagnosis of lung cancer.

I was unaware that this 'little gem' of a hospital existed.

The care given by all staff was exemplary.

The professionalism and expertise shown by the nursing staff ensured my friend died pain and fear free.

This review is a little behind as there is much to do following a bereavement. I am saying my thanks you's to all involved with my late friend.

Appreciatively

Dear Ms Bowen

May I offer my sincere condolences for your loss, and thank you for your very kind words about the staff team at the Sheldon Unit.

The staff always want to provide care in a compassionate and supportive way, and knowing your friend died free from pain and without fear will hopefully give you comfort during your reflections.

Your feedback has been shared with the staff team who will be pleased to know that you found the care to be as you and they would both want.

Kindest regards

Alison Last
