I was admitted to Ross Hall hospital in Glasgow at the end of 2015 for a hysterectomy. I was very frightened, the night before the op was the most lonely time. But the staff were amazing - the consultant, the nurses, the OT and the domestic staff. I felt genuinely cared for and they did everything they could to show compassion and help me get back on my feet. I am so grateful and feel lucky to have had such a good experience at a stressful time. Thank you.
