From the 1st consultation I was impressed by the care and attention given, particularly as I was recovering from a replacement hip dislocation and was on crutches. The afternoon of the operation was equally pleasant. Comfortable armchairs and calm pleasant surroundings made for a pleasant wait, accompanied by my husband. It was a longish afternoon as I was last on the list, I had accepted a cancelation slot at short notice, but it soon passed and as my husband said "it gave him a chance to catch up with reading his book. As for the operation, I could not believe how it all seemed to happen so quickly and without any trauma, notwithstanding a certain amount of anxiety on my behalf. Now 3 weeks later and WOW what a difference, I can see the anti scratch/reflection coating on my old glasses and can read things at good distances without glasses and can even read without glasses with my now good eye. Can't wait to have the second one done, soon.
Well done to all at the clinic and F ward. I have to separately praise the cleaning staff at all the departments and wards visited. They were immaculate and we took the opportunity to say so at the time.
