After a suicide attempt on 31 July 2009, I was referred to the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (mental health) who help the patient only for a maximum of six weeks.

In the time I was involved with the CRHT Team, I was worried that after the short time I would be left alone again. At this I was told that I would be referred to another mental health support service for continued support after the CRHT Team had stopped to see me. On 25 August 2009, I was told that I would be referred to a local mental health support service. Unfortunately, the referral that was promised was never made by the CRHT Team. I have now been left for a further six months without mental health support and North Manchester General Hospital has made no efforts to put this right.

I now feel suicidal all over again.

I would not recommend mental health sufferers to go to North Manchester General Hospital for mental health treatment of any kind.
