"Excellent unit"

About: Basildon University Hospital

Went to my GP with a lump found just under my armpit, the doctor said they thought it wasnt anything, but as it would be classed as breast related the doctor would refer me to the breast unit to make sure.

Got a call same day from hospital with an appointment within the 2 week guideline.

Have just been this afternoon for my appointment, unit is extremely well run, had a mammogram and ultrasound, turned out to be a lymph gland so was discharged same day, all this was completed within 1 hour 15 mins, this is the NHS at its best.
