I was referred to Solihull Haematology by my doctor and attended on 10 May.
Sadly the appointment was at 4 pm and
I arrived at 3.45 pm but .due to a local mix up of files after
Registration
I was not taken to the consultant until 4.20 pm.
The member of staff was excellent and courteous but because of time was unsable to aarranger to give me blood test or X ray ,We mutually agreed for me to be seen at Heartlands which is more convenient to my home .
This they arranged shortly and I visited Ward 19 Day on 24th march but they were not aware of my atrial fib and need to give up Apixoban for 7 days.
This was revised to 5th April when I was seen the Nurse Practitioner& Assistant. They were wonderful and courteous in explaining bone marrow biopsy.
. I subsequently attended Heatlands for skeletal
X Rays and for full blood for test. On 6th May I attended Solihull to see the consultant..
Excellent reception. I also receive. copies of letters to my Doctors. As with Dematology, Cardiology and Haematology all very friengly and caring treatment.
