"Most of the nurses were caring ..."

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital (Harlow)

(as a relative),

What I liked

Most of the nurses were caring and hard working. However, (and this is NOT something I liked) they did appear to be overloaded and lacking in support to make their work easier.

What could be improved

1) The resuscitation area would have been greatly improved by cleaning the floor of blood and other products before admitting further patients. It should be cleaned after each use!

2) Make sure that male dementia patients are kept dressed and out of the female wards.

Anything else?

More than a week has passed since the discharge of my daughter with NO discharge report. Over a week later it has still not been made available though we have had a number of broken promises. Since my daughter will require medication for life this is a very unsatisfactory situation.
