"Laryngoscopy day case under general anaesthetic"

I found the anaesthetic and surgery team excellent. I however found the ward cold with nowhere to lock up valuables

In addition ward nurses seemed a little lax

They seemed to spend a significant amount of time gossiping in the office rather than on the ward despite there being only four patients. On discharge from the recover room I was left for around 30mins + before being checked by ward sisters and was cold and shivering
