"Day case appointment"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

I had an appointment today for a minor surgical procedure on a vein. I arrived feeling very stressed as I was let down at the last minute by the person who had been due to look after my baby (who was ill) and my two year old. Once I reached the ward everyone I encountered was extremely kind and went out of their way to ensure that my visit was as brief as possible so that I could get back to my baby. I have had a number of appointments now with my Consultant and they are extremely skilled at putting people at ease when having uncomfortable/embarrassing procedures. I would not hesitate to recommend them or their team. They are all assets to the NHS.
