"Receiving treatment for asthma/pneumonia"

About: Glenfield Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Ward 20 in April 2016. I had constant care by both doctors and nurses. A couple of days later it was my 80th. birthday and I was awoken in the morning by nurses Gladis, Ani and Sue standing around my bed singing 'Happy Birthday'. There could have been no better incentive to recover. It was marvellous. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Dear El Ingles,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comment.

It is great to hear how well you were cared for on Ward 20 at Glenfield Hospital and that our nursing staff helped you to celebrate your birthday. Your kind feedback has been shared with the team on Ward 20. We hope you are feeling better.

Kind regards,

Update posted by El Ingles (the patient)

Your comments were much appreciated and I was pleased that my story was published in the Leicester Mercury so that their readers would know what a professional team of people you have.

Also I would mention that I promised nurses Gladis, Ani and Sue and Ila (Discharge lounge) a peomotion copy of my latest CD from Spain. They are in the mail right now so I hope you received them 'pronto'.

Thank you
