On Saturday the 30th April 2016 I visited A&E department with an abcess in a private ladies part.
First how exceptionally helpful and kind were all the staff in the department, couldn't have asked for better service and attention.
after A&E I was transferred to SSU, the doctor introduced themself to me and really put me at ease (deep down I was terrified)
They wanted to book me into theatre for the following day but having a disabled husband I didn't want a GA and stay in overnight for obvious reasons.
They happily did what I asked and gave me a local and did the minor op there and then and was asking all the time and their partner was I ok and chatting to me to put me at ease.
It took about 20mins to do and then
I was off home with antibiotics and instruction on how to manage my wound.
how wonderful is the doctor and their team where on earth do you get treatment like that .
Only at Salford Royal Hospital, what a wonderful place.
Let no one call the NHS to me they all do a wonderful job
