"Unusualy timely appointment at Hallamshire"

I went for a surgical cyst removal at Royal Hallamshire last month. I particularly appreciated the speed (first time for everything) on this occasion - only time this has ever happened, perhaps it depends on the department.

I was pleased with the reassurance that I got as a patient. However, I do not think it is appropriate for staff to discuss a leaving 'do' over a patient.

I was extremely surprised by the time improvement on previous visits, although I do believe this was an exception rather than the rule, as a visit to the Northern General Hospital earlier was completely the opposite. Hours of what seemed unnecessary waiting for a short consultation. This experience was only to be repeated with treatment appointment. All hospital visits are stressful, due to driving round, trying to park - public transport is inconvenient and expensive.
