"Appointments system non-existent"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

Been a patient of E. N. T. for approximately 59 years. Having had five mastoid operations on same ear and now having no eardrum I see a doctor every three months. Actually this is wrong, the doctor states I'll see you in three months but the last four times I have had to ring to chase up appointments which are months late. This includes my latest which after ringing will now be six weeks late.

I am very sorry to hear about the delays that you are encountering with your ENT appointments. Would it be possible for you to provide more information to our Patient Services Team so that we can look into this matter and respond personally to you?

The team can be contacted on telephone number 0114 271 2400 or by emailing: pst@sth.nhs.uk

Thank you
