"At the heart of the hospital"

I wish this doctor could be cloned! I moved away from Plymouth for personal reasons and I have never found any doctor with such care, professionalism and expertise and knowledge. They network, they are creative and think beyond the usual channels and at all times you are the centre of the care plan. You are a rare doctor to find and I thank you for my life. If only they had a ward dedicated to the aftercare of daycare/overnight patients within their department. That addition to Derriford would make the department perfect in my eyes and that of CQC.

I am now service user representative where I live within other services for my NHS Trust. I hope that someone who reads this will represent my recommendations to the Chief Executive at Derriford and give this doctor the recognition they deserve through additional resources, dedicated solace, staff and after care management.
