"Felt like new GP was calling me a liar"

About: NHS Borders

(as the patient),

I went to my GP surgery today to see her about an issue I have been having for a few weeks now. When I saw my GP I informed her of my health issues concerning my hydrocephalus and I feel that she was calling me a liar about where my VP shunt drains to in my body.

This has seriously affected my confidence in the doctor involved.

Dear Bill82, I am sorry to read about your recent experiences at your GP Practice. As GP's are independent practitioners concerns relating to the services they provide are investigated and responded to by the individual practice. I would therefore encourage you to raise these matters with the Practice Manager at your GP Practice. If you feel unable to do this please contact me on 01896 826719.
