About: Millbrook Mental Health Unit

(as the patient),

Nice clean ward. Friendly and supportive nursing staff.

Food was adequate.

Would be better if there were more self supported activities for those who can not leave the ward to help pass the time.

Would be good to have a better plan in place for when doctors are on leave to help progress rather than waiting for them to come back.

Many thanks for taking the time to post feedback regarding orchid ward at Millbrook.

It is great to hear your positive experience regarding the nursing staff and I will ensure staff receive this feedback.

The leadership team are currently working closely with the OT and Millbrook LIVE team regarding self supporting activities and there are currently proposals in place that are awaiting finalisation for some hours of activity ward based co ordinators.

I will ensure the medical team also receive your feedback regarding your experience of the medical team being on leave although I understand on this recent occasion the circumstances were unforeseen.
