"Second visit, still impressed."

Having had my first Total Hip Replacement performed at KIMS at the end of January I was pleasantly surprised to be invited back for my second towards the end of April.

Being a "regular" it was easy going through all the pre-op assesments saving the staff time with a "been there, done that, still got the documentation" attitude. Recognition by the staff from my previous visit also enhanced a friendly atmosphere.

Everything went well and to time and the almost "production line" efficiency is amazing. I don't think that I have ever seen a grumpy face there and nothing seems to be any trouble for anyone. Apparently the catering supplier had changed between my visits but my perception was that it had gone from good to even better. I'm sure that the fact that the place is new only enhances the experience. Writing this I am only 3 days away from my first return for wound check and physio, appointments made one after the other for my convenience. I really cannot praise this place highly enough.
