I attended A&E on Saturday 30 April after injuring my ankle. The department was well organised and I saw a receptionist after waiting a few minutes. I then saw medical staff for initial assessment in the first 15 minutes and I then was fully examined by a second member of the team within two hours. I had X-ray and broken ankle diagnosed. Soon after I was put in a plaster cast and I was out of the hospital in under 4 hours. Everyone in the team who examined or treated me were friendly , caring and professional. I was very happy with the level of care. I was given an appointment to return today to the fracture clinic and plaster was removed and I was given air cast brace . Again the team were great. I am very appreciative of how I have been treated and would like to say a big thank you .
"A great team delivering excellent patient care"
