"Excellent ongoing treatment from the Liver Unit"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

My brother has been a patient of the liver unit for the past 9 years and has undergone 2 liver transplants for a type of bile duct disease related to an inflammatory bowel condition, the second transplant because of disease recurrence. We cannot thank Kings enough for the excellent ongoing care he is receiving from a wide range of departments; these include Post Transplant Clinic with the fabulous consultant, Renal outpatients, Anaemia clinic, Diabetic clinic and General Ultrasound, MRI & Endoscopy. He continues to receive excellent care and to show our gratitude, apart from thanking staff when we do attend, we have felt compelled to start donating to the King's College Charity which is doing excellent work to raise extra funds.

Many thanks for your comments about the Liver service at King's. It's pleasing to hear that your brother has had good care from a different departments at the hospital.

That's fantastic that you are now donating to the King's College Charity - thank you so much!
