"I was treated so professionally by all concerned"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was immediately taken to a cubicle, undressed and had initial investigations, ie B/p pulse, temp. also had a Venflon inserted, all by very polite and efficient nurses. Then seen by the first doctor, had chest xray too all within the first 40 mins of my arrival. I had also given quite a long history to the doctor. Throughout my visit and eventual overnight admission I was treated so professionally by all concerned. Although am now in my 70s, I was an RGN working in A&E in the 1970s at EBH as it was known then.

I am so pleased that you felt well cared for and was treated professionally and politely by all staff you encountered.

I'm sure you've seen many many changes here at Heartlands Hospital since the days when you were a member of staff at the old East Birmingham Hospital! I do hope that you are continuing to recover well following your stay.

I will be thrilled to ensure that your feedback is highlighted to H Lane, Matron for Cardiology Services as well as Dr M Pitt, Consultant and Clinical Director for Cardiology at the trust. They will be delighted to ensure that all of their team read your feedback.
