(as the patient),

I am 25/40 weeks pregnant and had my first appointment with the new midwife at oxted health centre Sam last week. She was fantastic. I have not had the smoothest of pregnancies and I am being monitored for several things. She was patient with me and really clear in her explanation of results I had had that I didn't fully understand. I have seen a different midwife at each of my appointments so far, all of which have been lovely but I am pleased that I will now have the same person and extremely happy it will be Sam. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your story about your antenatal care. I will ask for your comments to be passed on to Sam, who will no doubt be very pleased to hear how happy you were with how your appointment went. It is so important to be reassured and have things explained clearly during any pregnancy but particulalry when it is not straightforward.
