"Exemplary care on ward 22"

Sadly my mother spent the last the few days of her life on Ward 22 following an 8 month battle with cancer. However,one comfort was the exemplary care she received while on this ward.

My mum's needs were met with dignity and compassion by everyone involved.

The medical team discussed every decision with my family with equal care and compassion. In addition to this the staff on the ward did everything in their power to allow my father to comfortably spend these last days by my mother's side night and day.

Please pass on my whole family's heart felt thanks to a wonderful bunch of professionals.

They really are a credit to the NHS and should be proud of the care they deliver.
