"Surgical 7 weeks (asleep)"

About: Bpas (merseyside Clinic)

Initially I had planned to have the procedure done awake as I was travelling home, by plane, that evening and was unsure of how I would feel after being put to sleep, I was reassured that I would be fine to fly and encouraged to be put to sleep as awake it would be 'very uncomfortable'. Procedure was painless, staff were fantastic, clinic was clean and the whole thing was as smooth and stress free as it could be considering the circumstances.

It was nice to talk to other women in the same position who had to travel to have the procedure carried out.

Thank you for taking the time to post your kind feedback which will be passed on to the relevant BPAS staff.

I am sure that your comments will be extremely helpful to other women, specifically those who need to travel a long way for treatment.

Kind regards, Pam Field, BPAS Client Engagement Manager (email: clientservices@bpas.org).
