"Rampton Hospital Peaks unit Queens Birthday celebrations."

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Celebrations were held in the Peaks unit central resource building within Rampton Hospital to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's 90th Birthday. The celebrations were attended by patients from all of the wards in the Peaks unit. Comments from attending patients were all positive, and a very relaxed and enjoyable day was had by all.

The below comments have all come from patients that attended the celebrations and have been passed on for submission to the PO website.

"Brilliant, Enjoyable and a good opportunity to meet up and celebrate with other patients"

"Excellent! ! Well organised, lovely food laid on and the quiz and games were very good. Thank You to the staff for all of their hard work. "

"A very good and well organised day. Good to see every one having a good time together. I especially enjoyed the pin the tail on the corgi game! "

"Good time, enjoyed it all, especially the games provided in the gym area. It was nice to meet other patients from the Hospital, as I’m fairly new here and have only really mixed with people from my own ward. "

"I liked the way the staff interacted with the patients when we were playing table tennis and table football. "

Thank you very much to you all for taking the time to share your feedback and experience of the care you recieve within The Peaks Unit here at Rampton Hospital.

It is very rewarding for the staff to recieve such positive feedback as they work hard to transfrom patient ideas and to host meaningful recovery focused events. It was my pleasure to see you all enjoying the activities and food, looking so relaxed and interacting so positively together.

Glad you all enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next event!

It is great to receive such positive feedback from patients, thanking staff for the event. I would like to extend this thanks to all the patients who were involved in the planning meeting on April 8th. Without the committment and preparation from the patients right at the beginning the event would not have been half as successful.
