"very limited blue badge parking"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

I'm attending physio on the ground floor, two floors and a sizable walk from the only blue badge parking on the second floor of a multi story. That's if you can get in one of the few blue badge spaces, which are made even fewer by abuse of them by able bodied people which isn't monitored. Dreadful parking, far too few for those who can't use the public transport option.

We are sorry that you experienced problems parking. There are seven disabled parking spaces on level 0 as well as the 28 spaces on level 2. However, during peak periods, notably week days, the demand for parking across the site may exceed capacity. We try to actively promote alternative ways that patients, visitors and staff can travel to the hospital, whilst ensuring its existing parking spaces are most appropriately allocated.

The Trust will continue to endeavour to provide adequate on-site parking; unfortunately it may not be possible to fully satisfy this provisions on every occasion.
