"First-class treatment at Day Surgery Unit"

I underwent scheduled treatment at the Day Surgery Unit at Kingston Hospital on 26 April 2016.

In every respect the service provided added a new dimension to the meaning of first-class.

The reception staff were helpful, friendly and courteous, and my treatment started in advance of the schedule.

The Nursing Staff on the ward could not have been more efficient, thoughtful and kind.

The reassurances they provided were most effective, and the nurses of all grades were constantly on hand to provide help and guidance.

The doctor who performed the treatment was most proficient and they and their theatre staff could not have been more kind and considerate.

I was equally well cared-for post-treatment, and I left Kingston Hospital with a strong view that this hospital and its staff meet the highest requirements of the increasingly demanding NHS.

My only regret is that I am obliged by the terms of this review not to name the doctor or nursing staff so that they can see how much I appreciated their hard work and dedication.

I hope that somehow the Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust can bring this praise to their attention.
