"Cornwallis ward excellent care"

I recently had an operation. At Maidstone hospital in the middle of the junior doctors strike it made no difference to the ward which was being covered by consultants etc. I was made very welcome by the sister and nurses alike everything was explained theatre staff were excellent same as pre op staff the ward was spotless and the food very good .i was never kept waiting if I called for a nurse or pain relief. I can honestly say and recommend Maidstone hospital even though this has been my first stay .i do feel we need to support our NHS and expo ally our junior doctors we need them for the future of our children grandchildren etc and whilst training they work exceptionally hard for very little and sometimes take quite a battering ? All NHS staff wok hard
