"Day Surgery Unit"

My 80 year old dad attended the Day Surgery unit for a minor ENT procedure. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist which straight away made us feel at ease. The nurse assigned to my dad made him feel like he was their only patient. The anaesthetist came to see him and they too were very kind and caring. Dad was then put on ward 8d for his aftercare and once again all the staff were very kind and caring. You hear so much negativity about the NHS but I could not fault the care my dad received today. Thank you
